1. Hi, Richard here.

   It's refreshing to see that there's a Jason Statham site that has actually done it's homework and lists his birthplace as Shirebrook in Derbyshire and not Sydenham in London.

   I was brought up in Shirebrook and have no problem in anyone knowing that fact.

   Apparently, Jason Statham will not talk about Shirebrook or his childhood in the town.

   I suppose a small ex-mining town in the East Midlands is not as glamourous or well known as Sydenham, London.

   I beleive his father was a coal-miner too and not a lounge singer as stated in most biographies.

   I'm not saying he didn't sing occasionally but I don't think that this was his main job.

   My father knows him and I do beleive worked with him for a few years at the local mine.

   Jason's father being a singer and mother a dancer makes it sound as if he's from a theatrical family.

   That looks better on his CV or on the chatshows no doubt.

   The British actor John Hurt was also born and raised in Shirebrook. His father was the town's vicar for 15 years.

   John doesn't seem to have a problem with people knowing that though.

   Anyway, keep up the good work.

   I'm 99 percent sure that my dad used to work with him. He certainly knows his father anyway.

4. People! It's a movie!! And an entertaining one with a handsome man who can actually work hard and do his own stunt's. I like his movie's alot and i admire the fact that this guy probabley sold me a fake perfume on the streets of london but paid it back by performing and entertaining me with lot's of action and humor. 10. Jason, last night as a group of adults ageds 22 to 50 years, we watched a movie of yours, titled. Crank, HIgh Voltage" We all enjoy the Transporter movies, good fun, a medium story line, great driving, not overdone with the violence and sex, and the main character seems to be intelligent, and not over the top, and the plot reasonable believable. However, this film 'Crank' was such a C grade movie, or is there a lower grade? it was unbelievable that you participated in it. Is your acting career going down the tube and u are not getting the roles u want? This was a sicko, Jason!!!! Not only was it no story line, it was just stupid violence, porno sex and a waste of an hour or so of our lives in watching. As a matter of fact, we turned it off after the car charge episode, and put on another video that was a lot more entertaining! I dont know whether to wish you well or not. To wish you well to get better movie roles, and to criticize you for the extreemly poor example you set for some younger ones who admire you, with Crack. I am sure some sicko will try to follow your actions in Crank, so u sure have a lot to answer for, if not in this life, certainly the next. Better think about it. You dont deserve our money any more after that Crank, so count your money giving fan group, down by 4 at least. Lets hope u actually get some of these messages, or do u just ignore them all?

77. Read the review on Transporter 3, seems a little offencive to a fan that the director would refer to the character as "gay"? According to Louis Letterrier the movie's "much more fun when you know he's gay" Wonder what lovely JayStat thought about that...? Not that it matters much. He's still a great action hero.
